Housefly's eye looks like a bee's house. A hexagon shaped areas are formed by lines inside of the eye. Surface does not have special color, and it is transparent.

Main Part

This part is zoomed on the main area of the housefly's eye. Because is transparent, the texture of surface is barely visible.
