A stem –parenchyma sample is semi-circular and has small areas where appear to be dark. The edge of the sample is darker than colorless surface. The surface looks similar to spider web.

Edge

The edge of the sample is comprised of circular holes, which look smaller than ones that compose the surface. The edge seems to be smooth compared to the stem collenchymas.

	400x	Some parts of the edge of the sample seem to be damaged. It seems to be cut off.

Dark Parts

There are some dark areas on the surface of the sample. Fibers that compose these areas are darker than other fibers. The thickness of the fibers also seems to be thicker.

	400x	At the middle of the dark area is a circular ring. These rings appear in all dark areas.

	400x	The surface of the sample seems to be transparent, and the fibers that compose the surface appear to be light pink. These fibers are connected each other forming holes. The size of the holes’ is different each other.
