Rabbit's spinal cord is circular and, a ring surrounds the entire cord. There are a few holes on the cord. The color of the cord is purple, and the ring is red. The surface of the cord seems to be rough.

Surface of the Cord

The pictures are focused on the rough surface of the cord. There are some holes on the surface of the cord. Inside of these holes does not have any substances.

	100x	The picture shows the rough surface of the cord. Many cells and tissue appear as small, countless dots.
	100x	The small holes are found in this area. Some of these holes consist of cells, but the biggest hole does not have any substances.
	400x	At 400x, many nuclei that surrounded by white objects are found. There seems to be two different textures on the surface.

Purple Area

These area is filled with purple substances. These area is separated from the main part, which is comprised of reddish tissues and cells. The purple area seems to have scales.

	200x	Between the reddish area and purple area, the circular shaped area is formed. Inside the area are several white bubbles.

Ring

The ring surround the entire part. The red ring is composed of tissues and cells. The ring seems to have scales.

	400x	When zoomed on these substances, they look similar to Streptococcus, chain bacteria.
