Rabbit's hyaline cartilage is long and thin. On the surface of the cartilage are cells, which appear as small dots at low magnification. The size of the cartilage is so big that several pictures are combined into one picture.

Main Part of the Cartilage

The cells appear on the surface of the cartilage. The color of the cells are generally dark or pink. Since the definition of the word "hyaline" is transparent, the surface of the cartilage appears as transparently purple in color.

	200x	Many cells appear on the surface of the cartilage. These cells are located all over the surface without a certain pattern.
	400x	As the width of the cartilage becomes narrow, the color of the cells changes from dark to purple. The cells seem to be vague because outer layer covers these cells.

Edge

One of differences between the main and the edge parts is color. The color of the edge is transparently pink. On the edge part, there are not as many cells as on the main parts.

	100x	The edge of the cartilage is also transparent, but only a few cells are found on it. The edge does not have certain shape.
	200x	On the right side of the image is an area with substances that look similar to the edge part. This isolated area must be the part of the edge.

Transparent Area

This area is found at the left end of the cartilage's main part. This transparent part seems similar to the edge part, but there are more cells than on the edge part.
