Protists

A ring shaped Hydra has many substances that look like bubbles inside of the ring. At the outside, the color is darker than inside part, and the ring has a line between the inside and outside part.

Inside Part

At the inside of the hydra ring, there are many objects that look like bubbles.

	400x	These bubble-like objects have different color. Some are totally black while others are grey. They are not arranged in order.
	1000x	Even though oil is not used at 1000x magnification, black dots on the white bubble-like object are clearly seen in the image.

Outside Part
The color of outside part of the hydra is more lighter than the inside part. Unlike the inside part, there is no bubble-like objects.

	200x	The white line between the outside part and inside part of the hydra represents a border; there are less bubble-like objects at the bottom part of the line (outside part).
	400x	Generally, the edge of the outside of the ring is smooth. But, in this image, there is part that seems to be damaged.
