Fish red blood cells are similar in appearanceto frog red blood cells. Also, unlike a human's, fish have small black dots at the middle of each cell. The size is similar to other cells. See comparisons of frog, fish, and human red blood cells.

Shape of Red Blood Cells

In contrast to the human's spherical red blood cells, the fish's red blood cells are elliptical.

Cell without Black Dot

There is one cell that does not have black dot on it. It is similar in shape to the other cells, but seems to have forgotten to bring it's black dot.

Cell Line

There is a strange linear grouping of cells in the center of the slide.

	200x	If you look closely, you will see a faint pink line below the cell lines. This is probably an artifact of the slide preparation. Perhaps the square edge of the slip cover scraped and managed to form this arrangement, but, I choose to believe that they got together delibertly to dance a conga line.
