Dog's
smooth muscle piece is divided into three layers. The top layer
composes most of the piece. The middle layer is transparently pink,
and the bottom layer has many bubbles filled with cells.
Top Layer
Some area in the top layer is divided into several
islands. Each island is comprised of many cells and, white
bubble-like substances are found around the island. Some
areas are not divided and have a vertical pattern.

Description
100x
The image shows the several islands
divided on the top layer. Some white
bubble-like substances are visible.
200x
This picture is focused on the area
that are not divided into several islands. This part
has a line pattern. The white bubble-like
substances are also found in this area.
400x
At 400x, each island has lighter
outside edge with white bubbles. Many nuclei are
visible at the middle of the island.
Middle Layer
Middle layer contains transparent tissues and another
tissues that have horizontal pattern. This pattern is
similar to the one in
dog's skeletal muscle. There are transparently pink
tissues and red tissues.

200x
The picture shows the transparent
tissues that contain several cells. There are some
areas with dark substances.
400x
These red tissues form a ring
speculated to be a cross-section of a blood vessel.
Inside of the ring is red objects, which seems
different from nuclei. It seems to be a drop of
blood.
200x
The tissues have horizontal
pattern, which appears as stripes. All nuclei found
inside of these tissues are long and ellipse shaped.
Bottom Layer
The bottom layer is comprised of countless bubbles filled
with cells. This pink layer is little bit transparent.

lighter area between the two different tissues. The
entire shapes of some cells are visible.
400x
The image shows the bubbles filled
with cells. The white bubble-like substances seem to
appear on this layer again.
